Bodybuilding is not about clown pants, tank tops, and standing on a stage competing. Bodybuilding is about shaping your body using diet, weight training, and hard work.
As a group, bodybuilders are too busy to train. They are too busy to prepare healthy meals. They don't have perfect genetics, and they don't always feel like going to the gym. Bodybuilding is about knowing and living these things and overcoming them.
I'm no different. I've been fat. I don't have great genetics. I crave pizza, beer, donuts, and other unhealthy food. I don't always have time to go to the gym. I have a full-time job, a family, and plenty of activities. Despite all these things, I'm a bodybuilder.
Everyone wants a great body. I wish building one was easy. It isn't. It doesn't come from 12 short weeks using a Bowflex or a month or two on some "Get Skinny" diet. A great body does not come in a can, a pill, or a bottle and you can't get it with five easy payments of $19.95.
With a few pages, I'll share with you a collection of the things I've learned during my years of training. Nothing in these pages are my own ideas. Everything here is the product of others.
